Students react to NKU replacing spring break
September 29, 2020
Earlier today, President Ashish Vaidya announced that the traditional week-long spring break will be replaced with a series of shorter University holidays that “should reduce the risks associated with traditional spring break travel.”
The additional holidays will now be Monday Feb. 15, Friday March 12 and Friday April 2.
Many students took to social media to express their frustrations with NKU’s decision
Nku: we’re canceling your week-long spring break, but here are 3 random days off of the semester

NKU: screws over all May 2020 grads
NKU: YOU MUST pay us full tuition, parking passes, rec fees, and so much more!

NKU: Hey December 2020 grads! We are now inviting May 2020 grads to YOUR commencement so THEY can feel special ?

If there’s anything you should’ve learned from NKU cancelling spring break it’s to WEAR A MASK AND QUIT PARTYING EVERY FREAKING WEEKEND

Thanks NKU for not giving us a spring break next semester. So happy my professors can now torture me the full semester with no relief ?

Think about what our spring break could’ve been if you all didn’t party the last six months ❤️
