As we celebrate and enjoy the Thanksgiving holiday and the Thanksgiving break from school, it is important to know more about the history of the holiday. The Northerner spoke to Eric Bates, co-director of Native American Studies at NKU, and Guy Jones, a member of the Hunkpapa Lakota Tribe, about the history of Thanksgiving.
