Dean Dr. Gannon Tagher – College of Health and Human Services

Dr. Tagher finds herself at home in the outdoors and thoroughly enjoys hiking in the Northern Kentucky area. “Every weekend, unless it’s raining, I’ll take my dogs to Big Bone [State Park],” she said. She’s hiked in Red River Gorge, the Great Smoky Mountains, the Grand Canyon and the mountains in Colorado, where she’s climbed a peak of 14,000 feet! She also loves paddleboarding both in the Florida Keys and on Lake Norris, where she owns a home. Dr. Tagher has also been playing the guitar for four years and her favorite song to play is “Leaving on a Jet Plane” by John Denver. She also loves traveling domestically and abroad, going to places such as Germany and Florida. This fall, she’ll visit Greece. She also loves museums and history, with her favorite being the Smithsonian of American History.
