Bio: Annie Hammock’s journalism career has stretched four decades and covered every platform, including television, radio, print and digital. She spent 26 years at CNN, working for both Headline News (now HLN) and CNN.com. When she’s not practicing or teaching journalism, she is playing poker or enjoying time with her hound/shepherd mix Penny. She is also a life-long learner and just wrapped up her second master’s degree, an MFA in creative non-fiction. There are sure to be more classes in her future.
