Position: Assistant Sports Editor

Bio: Jakob joined The Northerner in the fall of 2024 as an assistant sports editor. Jakob has always had a passion for sports. He played basketball growing up but recently expanded his game to other sports and is always open to learning new things. Jakob hopes to work as a sports analyst for channels like ESPN, NBC Sports and Fox Sports. Eventually, he would like to work on a more international scale doing the biggest sporting events in the world. He wanted to join The Northerner to get his foot in the door, but he also wanted to be active on campus and learn more about his community. Outside of school, Jakob hangs out with friends and family or works on his car.
