Tuesday, April 15
Baseball went against Southern Indiana at home, winning 7-6. Jake Johnson got the start and the win for the Norse. Johnson gave up a pair of runs, one earned, in a pair of innings. Gerald Hanson threw four scoreless innings, retiring 13 of the 14 batters he faced with four strikeouts. Evan Fry picked up the save with two outs in the ninth. To the bats: Gabe Miranda led the Norse, finishing 2-4 with three RBI. Logen Devenport went 2-2 with a double, two walks and an RBI. Tyler Shaneyfelt went 2-4 with a run scored and a stolen base. Marcus Harrison doubled as part of a 1-2 day. Brennan Rowe made hard contact and had a pair of hits. Braydon Rogers launched a solo homer in the win.
Wednesday, April 16
Softball took on Bellarmine, losing 6-1. Kyndall Ford got the start in the circle for the Norse. She pitched three innings, allowing three earned runs, five hits and four walks. Alicia Flores relieved Ford in the fourth and she finished the game with three innings pitched, four strikeouts, no walks, two runs and four hits allowed. NKU tallied just two hits, as Campbell Beatty and Brielle DiMemmo both singled in the game.
Thursday, April 17
Baseball beat Purdue Fort Wayne 7-4. Kaden Echeman pitched four innings, only allowing one hit. Shaw Parnell got the win for the Norse as he threw three scoreless innings. To the offensive: Tyler Shaneyfelt got two hits over the plate, scoring a run. Jake Paulick got two hits as well but finished with a homer and three RBI. Gabe Miranda had three RBI on one hit.
Friday, April 18
Women’s tennis picked up a win over Chicago State 7-0.

Baseball won against Purdue Fort Wayne 19-14. Bobby Bartlett got the win for NKU, throwing 1.2 scoreless innings with a strikeout. NKU pitching combined for nine strikeouts to just three walks. Evan Fry locked down the game, allowing a pair of runs on four hits in his two innings of work. Fry struck out five batters. To the bats: Both Logen Devenport and Josh Williams finished the day with four hits and two home runs. Williams hit a grand slam and a three-run homer, finishing the day with seven RBI. Devenport scored five runs, drew a pair of walks and had four RBI. Gabe Miranda finished 2-6 with an RBI. Tyler Shaneyfelt doubled, finishing 3-6 with an RBI and three runs scored. Jake Paulick provided a spark with a pinch-hit home run, finishing 1-1 with three RBI. Jake Altman had a pair of hits and drew two walks. Brennan Rowe homered, going 2-5 with three runs scored and a pair of RBI.
Softball played a doubleheader against Detroit Mercy, picking up one game.
First game: the Norse lost 7-1, Stella Wulker was the only Norse to record a hit, as she went 2-2 with a home run and a double. Alicia Flores gave up three runs in the first inning before being pulled for Kyndall Ford, who finished the game with five innings pitched, five hits allowed, four runs and four walks.
Second game: the Norse won 6-0, Inside the circle, Ford stole the show with her first complete-game shutout of her young career. She allowed just six hits and two walks in seven innings, while also fanning four batters. At the plate, Jena Rhoads had a great performance, going 2-3 with her first home run since 2023, three RBI and two runs scored. NKU tallied just five hits total, as Campbell Beatty, Olivia Pastin and Stella Wulker each singled.
Saturday, April 19
Women’s tennis played their final regular-season match against Milwaukee, winning 5-2.

Softball won against Detroit Mercy 5-1. Kyndall Ford threw another complete game win, this time allowing just one run, one walk, seven hits and striking out four batters. Seven Norse combined for nine team hits on the day, while also drawing three walks. Campbell Beatty went 2-4 with a double, two RBI and a run scored. Emma Ginn batted 2-3 with one run scored. Olivia Pastin and Brielle DiMemmo both went 1-3 with a single, a walk and a run scored.
Baseball won against Purdue Fort Wayne 10-4. Aaron Boster got the start for the Norse, striking out seven batters while allowing four runs (two earned) on four hits and three walks. Boster pitched to a no-decision. Shawn Parnell, Ryan Pehrson and Gerald Hanson locked down the ‘Dons’ on the way to a win. Pehrson threw two innings and struck out four to receive his first win of the season, while Hanson threw three scoreless innings with three strikeouts to pick up his first save of the season. On the offensive end: Tyler Shaneyfelt wreaked havoc on the Mastodon field, finishing 3-5 with an RBI and a pair of runs scored in the win. Shaneyfelt stole a pair of bases that caused PFW errors and scored on a wild pitch. Logen Devenport finished 1-3 with a homer, two RBI and two walks. Josh Williams homered for the second straight day and tripled as well as part of a 2-5, three RBI day. Sam Bond and Brennan Rowe each had a pair of hits as well.
