Softball lost to Valparaiso at home 4-1. Alicia Flores pitched 4.1 innings, striking out six, allowing three hits, two walks, and one run. Trinity Robertson went 2-3 at the plate with a double. Olivia Pastin hit her third home run of the season in the fourth inning. Pastin finished 1-3 at the plate. Stella Wulker went 1-3 with a double.
Baseball won against Kentucky foe Eastern Kentucky 15-2. Bobby Bartlett got the start for NKU, throwing one inning and allowing two runs. From there, Griffin Howell walk, 3.0 IP, 4 K, Gerald Hanson 1.0 IP, 2 K, Jake Johnson 1.0 IP, 1 K and Ryan Pehrson 1.0 IP, 2 K, shut down the Colonel lineup for the win. Gabe Miranda dominated, finishing the game 5-5 with two doubles, two home runs, and six RBI. Tyler Shaneyfelt finished 2-5 with a pair of RBI’s. Logen Devenport finished 1-2 with a solo home run. Jake Paulick had a 1-4 day with an RBI double. Sam Bond was 2-2 with two RBI’s. Braydon Rogers went 3-3 with a pair of doubles.

Women’s tennis lost in a battle against Eastern Florida State College 4-3.

Softball beat Morehead State at home 4-0. Kyndall Ford and Brooklyn Ballis combined for a shutout. Ford got the start and earned her first career victory, pitching 4.2 innings and allowing four hits, a pair of walks and struk out four batters. Ballis allowed just two hits and no walks in her 2.1 innings of work. Northern Kentucky recorded five hits in the game, as Jena Rhoads led the way for the Norse offense going 2-3 at the plate with a double and a triple. Campbell Beatty and Olivia Pastin went 1-2 with singles, while Mack Brown went 1-3 at the plate.

Friday, March 14
Softball played a doubleheader at home against Green Bay winning both games. First game: The Norse won 8-0. Alicia Flores dominated inside the circle, pitching five hitless innings allowing just a pair of walks. It was Flores’ second career no-hitter. The senior also added five strikeouts in game one. Northern Kentucky had a offensive game as well, mostly behind a seven-run fifth inning that sealed the game. NKU recorded 13 hits as four players recorded multi-hit games. Brielle DiMemmo went 3-3 with a double, driving in two runs and scoring one. Marley Gearld went 2-3 with a pair of doubles in the game, driving in one run. Emma Ginn and Mack Brow both went 2-3, each hitting a pair of singles. Second game: The Norse won 9-8. Seven different Norse recorded a hit in game two, as Gearld led the way as she went 2-3 from the plate with a double. Mack Brow went 1-1 with a double and a pair of walks, crossing home plate all three times she got on base. Emma Ginn went 1-3 with a triple. Trinity Robertson and Campbell Beatty both went 1-2 with doubles. Beatty also drove in a pair of runs and scored twice.
Baseball won against Purdue Fort Wayne 5-2. Kaden Echeman dominated PFW on his way to his first win of the season. Echeman threw seven innings, allowing only two hits without a walk completing a shutout. The graduate student struck out a career-high 12 batters, and retired the first 13 batters he faced. Out of the bullpen, Logan Wilson allowed a pair of runs, one earned while recording the final six outs to secure the win. Three Norse, Tyler Shaneyfelt, Gabe Miranda, and Braydon Rogers, finished with two hits. Miranda finished 2-4 with an RBI double, an RBI triple and a run scored. Braydon Rogers doubled as part of a 2-3 day. Tyler Shaneyfelt finished 2-4 with a pair of runs scored. Logen Devenport launched his sixth home run of the season in a 1-4 day.
Saturday, March 15
Softball swept Green Bay 11-2. Eight different Norse were responsible for the team’s twelve hits, a true offensive team effort. The highlight of the day was a three-run jack to center courtesy of Olivia Pastin in the second inning. Pastin finished the day 1-2 with a walk, three RBI’s, and two runs scored. Jena Rhoads went 2-4 with a double, two RBI’s, a stolen base, and a run. Marley Gearld continued her tear to start Horizon League play as she recorded her third-straight multi-hit game with an extra-base hit. Gearld went 2-3 on the day with a double, RBI, and a run. Emma Ginn went 2-3 with a pair of singles. Kyndall Ford earned her second win of the season, throwing five innings of two-run ball with a pair of strikeouts.

Baseball beat Purdue Fort Wayne 5-1. Conner Linn started on the mound for the Norse, throwing 7.2 innings of one run ball on only 82 pitches. Linn retired the first seven batters he faced. The Norse finished the day without an error while turning a pair of double plays. Linn allowed just one run on seven hits with no walks and a pair of strikeouts. Aaron Massie took over for Linn in the eighth inning and threw 1.1 perfect innings on his way to his third save of the season.In the batter’s box, Jake Paulick led the way for the Norse, finishing 2-3 with a double and a home run. His sixth inning blast was his fourth of the year, this one a two-run shot to left. Gabe Miranda finished 1-3 with a walk and a run scored. Nolan Sparks provided an RBI. Jake Altman had an efficient day, going 2-4 with an RBI single
Stunt lost against Central Arkansas and Missouri State in Martin, TN.
Sunday, March 16
Stunt picked up their first win in program history against Centenary 8-5. They also lost UT Martin in Martin, TN.
Men’s tennis picked up both wins 7-0 in the double header Chicago State.

Baseball had a day against Purdue Fort Wayne winning 20-5. Aaron Boster got the win for the Norse after throwing 3.2 innings and allowing only a pair of runs on four hits. Boster had a pair of strikeouts. Shawn Parnell threw 2.1 innings of perfect baseball in relief, striking out one without allowing a baserunner. In the batter’s box, Braydon Rogers led the way with a 3-4, 6 RBI day. Rogers finished a double shy of the cycle, hitting a grand slam in the 6th.
Nolan Sparks also hit a grand slam, finishing 1-4 with his first home run in an NKU uniform. The top three hitters in the lineup, Tyler Shaneyfelt, Logen Devenport, and Gabe Miranda, all finished with three hits. Miranda had three RBI, while Devenport and Shaneyfelt each had one. Josh Williams finished 1-2 with a home run and a pair of RBI. Sam Bond came off the bench with an RBI double in the sixth. Jake Paulick finished 2-4 with a pair of RBI.
