Wednesday, Jan. 22
Men’s tennis lost to Eastern Kentucky University 6-1. Emilio Bravo picked up the first point of the year for NKU in singles competition, winning a battle 6-3 in the first set, losing 2-6, but closing it out 7-5 in the last set. He moves to 1-1 on the season.

Thursday, Jan. 23
Women’s basketball beat Milwaukee 66-62. Mya Meredith finished in double figures, scoring 13 points and eight rebounds. She also added three steals and a team-high 32 minutes. Macey Blevins dropped 13 points. She added five assists, five rebounds and three steals. It marked her fourth game in conference play recording 10+ points, 5+ rebounds, and 4+ assists. Abby Wolterman finished with 10 points and grabbed eight rebounds. She had five offensive boards, her second-highest total of the season. Halle Idowu also finished in double figures, scoring 10 points. Idowu grabbed four rebounds and dished out a pair of assists.
Friday, Jan. 24
Men’s and women’s track and field competed in the Bellarmine Classic; nine Norse recorded top-five finishes. Both women’s and men’s teams did not register a score. Sierra Kendall finished fourth in the 60m hurdles, running a 9.23 in the finals. Kendall also ran in the 200m, setting a personal best with a time of 26.63. Staying in the 200m women’s race, Cameron Bitterman finished fifth with a time of 25.48, while Joi Bradley and Madison McDaniel set new personal bests with times of 26.59 and 26.65, respectively. In the seeded division of the women’s 800m race, Olivia Kennedy recorded another strong showing, finishing second at 2:15.77. Macie Radcliffe set a personal best in the mile with a time of 5:17.05, finishing fourth in the race. Moving to the long jump, Kierra Morris recorded a huge leap of 5.33m, finishing fifth and setting a season-best for the junior. Going to the men’s side, Brayden Holland set a new personal best of 50.61 in the 400m race for a third-place finish. In the 800m race, NKU saw Brady Messer and Preston Winiger both finish in the top seven out of 27 total competitors. Messer finished fourth with a time of 1:54.51, while Winiger finished seventh at 1:56.41. Lastly, freshman Alden Williams finished fifth in the long jump, recording a leap of 6.44m.
Men’s basketball fell against Milwaukee 79-59. Dan Gherezgher posted another solid outing off the bench, with nine points and five assists. Keeyan Itejere finished with 10 points and four rebounds, including a monster slam dunk making Sportscenter top 10 plays. Trey Robinson led NKU in scoring with 11. NKU struggled to shoot the ball from deep, going 3-21(14.3%). They also got out rebounded 33-20, giving Milwaukee 15 second-chance points.
Saturday, Jan. 25
Men’s and women’s swimming wrapped up the program’s first regular season at the University of Indianapolis, scoring men’s: NKU – 40, UIndy – 214 women’s: Northern Kentucky – 4, UIndy – 208. NKU’s A-200 yard medley relay team of Ben Jorgensen, Tyler Cukovecki, Ethan Johnson and Conner Norton picked up a pair of points with a final time of 1:39.68. Frank Runge gave NKU nine points with his second place finish in the 200-yard freestyle. Runge’s final time of 1:45.58 was less than four seconds from first. Jack Miranda gave NKU an additional point with his 1:49.60 time. Tyler Cukovecki scored a pair of points in the 100-yard breaststroke (1:02.50). Ethan Johnson picked up four points with his second place finish in the 200-yard butterfly (2:03.12). On the women’s side, Chloe Loftis scored two points with a 28.40 time in the 50-yard freestyle. Loftis scored two more in the 100-yard free. Conner Norton finished fifth in the 50-yard freestyle, scoring a pair of points. The Norse had an abundance of top five finishes, as they move closer to next month’s Horizon League championships.
Women’s basketball lost to Green Bay at home 64-56. Macey Blevins led all scorers with 16 points, going 6-14 from the field and grabbing four rebounds. Halle Idowu posted a double-double getting 12 points and 11 rebounds, marking her second double-double of the season. Abby Wolterman went for 11 points and nine rebounds, going 5-7 from the field. Mya Meredith put up five points, grabbing eight rebounds and blocking two shots.

- Men’s and women’s track and field will compete at the Midwest Classic in Indianapolis, Ind.

- Men’s and women’s track and field will compete at the PNC Lenny Lyles Invitational in Louisville
- Stunt will compete for the first time in program history against Mercyhurst at 9 a.m., then will go up against Ashland at 11 a.m. This will take place in Lexington.
- Women’s basketball will take on Wright State in Dayton, Ohio at 2 p.m.
- Men’s basketball will face off against Oakland in Rochester, Michigan at 4 p.m.
Sunday, Feb. 2
Stunt will compete against Missouri Baptist at 1 p.m. Then take on Kentucky at 4 p.m. in Lexington.
