Thursday, Nov. 14
Men’s basketball lost to Nicholls 61-59 in the home opener. Trey Robinson led NKU in scoring with 19 including nine in a row. Robinson also grabbed seven rebounds, blocked three shots, had four assists and a steal. Josh Dilling nailed four threes, scoring 18 points to tie his NKU career high. Dilling tagged on a pair of steals and three assists as well. Keeyan Itejere finished with nine points and five rebounds, adding three blocks. Sam Vinson led NKU in both assists (seven) and rebounds (eight). NKU lost the rebound battle, as Nicholls out rebounded the Norse 57-33, with 23 offensive rebounds.
Women’s and men’s cross country went to the NCAA Southeast Regional Championship in Rock Hill. The women placed 31st and the men’s team placed 28th.
Women’s volleyball lost to IU-Indy 3-0. In the first set NKU and IU-Indy battled in a marathon of a set with the Jaguars winning 33-31. The second set was another battle with both teams going on runs; no team could jump out to a huge lead and retain it. The game was tied 24-24 and the Jaguars would go on a 2-0 to close out the set winning 26-24.
The third set was about the same as the second set. NKU and IU-Indy battled early in the set then the Jaguars pulled away, gaining a lead of 17-9. NKU would climb back getting as close as five, but the lead was too big to come back from IU-Indy won the last set 25-20, winning the match 3-0.
Sydney Bray and Risley led the Norse in kills with 10. Risley nearly posted a double-double, adding nine digs. Lainey Green and Torie Houston combined for 34 assists, with Green leading NKU with 20. Joy Banks finished with eight kills and eight digs. Lucy Cluxton led NKU with 13 digs.
Women’s basketball beat Cedarville 81-67. Macey Blevins had a season-high 22 points on 8-12 shooting. Blevins hit a pair of threes, pulled down three boards and added two steals and two assists. Anna Hamilton put up 11 points on 5-8 shooting, and added three boards, two steals and two assists.
Mya Meredith posted double figures for the first time as a Norse, putting up 10 points while adding a pair of steals and a block on defense. Halle Idowu scored 12 points and knocked down six of her seven free throw attempts, while adding four rebounds and two assists. Jaci Jones recorded seven assists on the night and scored seven points, both season-highs.
Saturday, Nov. 16
Women’s volleyball lost against IU-Indy 3-2. In the first set NKU jumped out to an early 9-5 lead, butIU-Indy would cut into their lead getting as close as 14-10. However the Norse would go on a 4-0 run adding to the lead, 18-10. IU-Indy showed some life near the end, going on a 4-0 run themselves, but it wasn’t enough as NKU won the first set 25-20.
The second set, IU-Indy led the whole way. They jumped out to a 7-3 lead, and IU-Indy kept adding points to the board getting the lead to 14-7. NKU climbed back, cutting the lead to 16-14 after a 4-0 run. NKU and IU-Indy would trade points until IU-Indy closed out the set going on a 4-0 run winning the set 25-19, tying the match 1-1. In the third set, NKU was able to get a lead early, 7-5. The set would be tied 12-12, until IU-Indy went on a 5-0 run. NKU went on a 4-0 run to answer back making the set 17-16 In IU-Indy favor. As the team battled, they found themselves tied again 20-20. The Jaguars would go on a 5-1 run to close out the set, winning it 25-21.
The fourth set is where NKU flipped the script, as both teams battled late into the set. NKU would go on a 3-0 to lead 22-18, but after trading points, NKU would win the set 25-21, tying up the match 2-2. The last set of the game was all Jaguars, as they held a 7-3 lead over the Norse and would hold onto the it, winning 15-12. Joy Banks recorded a double-double in her final collegiate match, finishing with 11 kills and a match-high 12 digs. Banks recorded 19 double-doubles this season. Torie Houston led NKU in assists, posting 25 assists and eight digs in her last match. Allie Siefke finished with three block assists, four digs, and four kills.
Sunday, Nov. 17
Women’s basketball lost against Toledo in a close game 76-73. NKU had a 10 point lead going into the half leading 42-32. NKU offense was excellent, shooting over 50% from the field going into the break. After the half, the Norse kept their lead throughout the third quarter 62-56, but the fourth quarter is where the game got tense. The game saw multiple lead changes and would come down to the wire, but Toledo would sneak past the Norse to win by three. Macey Blevins had 21 points and four steals. Halle Idowu got 18 points and six rebounds. Mya Meredith had 10 points off the bench while shooting 5-7 from the field.

- Men’s and women’s swimming will compete in the House of Champions Invitational in Indianapolis.
- Men’s basketball will face off against Kentucky State at home at 1 p.m.
Women’s basketball plays against Southern Indiana in Evansville, IN at 4 p.m.
