Kaitlyn Hooper is a senior long distance runner for the NKU Track and Field team. She currently leads the team with the best time in the 10,000M at 39:59.09. Her other times this season include a 19:12.71 in the 5,000M and 5:23.40 in the 1500M. But what else do you know about Kaitlyn?

Q: What is your favorite pre-game meal?

A: A peanut butter and jelly sandwich.

Q: Do you have any sports-related superstitions?

A: I have a pair of lucky songs and earrings I like to wear.

Q: What would be your best achievement to date?

A: In the 5K I’ve gotten down to the lower 19:22 time, which is my best.

Q: What is the number one song on your iPod?

A: “Shake it Off” by Taylor Swift.

Q: Who is your celebrity crush?

A: Channing Tatum.

Q: If you won the lottery, what is the first thing you would do?

A: Pay off my student loans.

Q: What scares you the most? Why?

A: The future because I don’t know what’s going to happen.

A: Chocolate.

Q: What is your dream vacation destination?

A: Greece.

Q: What other sport do you wish you were equally as good at?

A: Volleyball.

A: My favorite TV show is “Pretty Little Liars.”

A: Christmas because I get to see my family.

Q: What are your hobbies outside of track and field?

A: School, because I’m a nursing student. And I like to shop.
