A “dangerous situation” was reported at Truist Arena at approximately 7 p.m. Tuesday night, according to a Norse Alert.
Police responded to a domestic incident involving a knife, a later message said. A campus spokesperson said the incident was isolated and occurred on Nunn Drive.
Police responded to a call about a male with a knife. Three individuals were in route to Colerain High School’s graduation at Truist when the event occurred. None of the involved individuals were a part of the graduating class. No events took place inside the arena, the spokesperson said.
No arrests have been made at this time and the investigation is still ongoing, a statement said.
A male is currently being treated for non-life threatening injuries he sustained upon attempting to grab the knife.
An all-clear message was sent approximately 25 minutes later via Norse Alert.
Colerain High School’s graduation is ongoing at Truist.
