The tornado warning that was in effect for the NKU campus Wednesday evening was allowed to expire by the National Weather Service in Wilmington, Ohio.

The warning ran for approximately 30 minutes Wednesday evening for Campbell County, including the Northern Kentucky University campus. It was allowed to expire at 7:45 p.m.

Large hail and damaging winds were reported near campus. Students on campus were sheltered in place in buildings across campus until the all-clear was received.
