“Honoring the Leaders of the Past and the Innovators of Tomorrow,” the NKU chapter of the National Association for the Advancement of Colored People hosts its first annual Image Awards.
The chapter will recognize students, faculty, staff and businesses exemplifying not only leadership, but integrity. Along with the ceremony, the chapter links up with other African American organizations to present the Bridging the Gap mixer. The aim is to provide a chance for black students, faculty and staff to foster connections between the groups.
Also, the chapter will award book scholarships to students in financial need.
