Kentucky Gov. Steve Beshear is visiting Northern Kentucky University on March 26′ for a public forum.
The forum’ is part of a joint collaboration between the Scripps Howard Center for Civic Engagement, Legacy and Vision 2015.
According to the press release, it will consist of a 30-minute interview with former’ ‘Comment on Kentucky’ host Al Smith, a question and answer session with a panel of citizens moderated by Smith and an opportunity for audience questions.
There will be four community representatives that will ask questions the audience will submit via note cards to the representatives. The four representatives will come from the areas of labor, education, an NKU student and economic development.
Mark Neikirk, the Scripps Howard Center’s executive director said the forum is meant to provide a way for the whole community to come together.
The forum is free and open to the public at 7 p.m. March 26 in the Student Union Ballroom.’ Doors will open at 6:30 p.m.
