The Northern Kentucky University Women’s Soccer team advanced to the second round of the NCAA Division II Tournament with a 1-0 win over Rockhurst Nov. 14 in Kenosha, Wis.

Freshman forward Kelly Snead scored the only goal of the game in the first period.

The Norse will face Wisconsin-Parkside at 2:30 p.m. Eastern Standard Time Nov. 16.
