Coffeehouse Series: Gabriela Garcia Medina
Award-winning poet and international spoken word artist Gabriela Garcia Medina will perform at 7 p.m. Nov. 10 in the Student Union Multipurpose Room.
Diversity According to South Park and Family Guy
Matt Glowacki will illustrate the ways TV imitates life and life imitates TV at 7 p.m. Nov. 11 in Otto Budig Theater by using clips from popular television shows.
Comedian Victor Varnado
Black albino stand-up comedian Victor Varnado will perform at 7 p.m. Nov. 12 in the Student Union Multipurpose Room. Varnodo’s resume includes performances in “End of Days” and “The Adventures of Pluto Nash.”
The Dance: The History of American Minstrelsy
Two minstrel clowns will perform a play displaying comparisons between minstrelsy and the perceptions that still exist in modern times, at noon Nov. 13 in the Student Union Multipurpose Room. Their performance was developed from six years of research.
