Wedding bells were ringing for Scarlett Johansson and Ryan Reynolds this weekend. The two Hollywood hard-hitters whisked off to Canada and with no warning at all said “I do.”
Johansson, who is only 23, started dating the 31-year-old Reynolds just last year, shortly after Reynolds split from his ex, Alanis Morissette.
According to People.com, “This is the first marriage for both.”
Let’s hope this isn’t another Hollywood marriage that is rushed and quickly ended. With the couple meeting just last year and being engaged by May, who knows? Happy wishes to the gorgeous couple!
Can you believe it’s been over nine months since the devastating news of the death of Heath Ledger?
It seems like it was yesterday, I was writing this very column when the news of Ledger’s death splashed all over the screen. After months of speculation of the actor’s accidental overdose, his daughter Matilda has officially been named the heir of Ledger’s estate.
At only 2 years old, Matilda will obtain a fortune of $16.6 million.
According to starmagazine.com, “Our family has gifted everything to Matilda,” Heath’s dad, Kim Ledger, told the Australian newspaper The Sunday Times, adding that Matilda’s mother, actress Michelle Williams, will not challenge the decision.
Ledger did have a will before his death, however, it had been signed in 2003, which was before the birth of Matilda and his relationship with Williams.
Johnny Depp, Orlando Bloom and Keira Knightly are back? That’s right! Pirates of the Caribbean will be hitting round four.
Depp, aka Captain Jack Sparrow, has confirmed that he is signed up to do Pirates of the Caribbean 4, no official release date or confirmation of the film has been confirmed, however, with a franchise that has reached $2.6 billion dollars, Pirates are definitely money makers.
Andrew Lee may not of been a celebrity in life, but he is in death. Lee, a 33-year-old man died from eating some extremely spicy chili.
According to perezhilton.com, Lee challenged his girlfriend’s brother to see who could create and eat the spiciest chili.
“He died of heart failure, which is weird because Lee was recently declared to be in perfect health after a recent medical examination,” said Perezhilton.com.
Apparently, Lee’s girlfriend found him the next morning and immediately called the paramedics, but it was too late. The cause of death is still undetermined, however, but experts are speculating he had an adverse reaction to the chili.
Watch those peppers and beware of the hot sauce, that stuff is deadly!
