The Northern Kentucky University’s Men’s Soccer team pulled out an amazing victory over Carson-Newman Sept. 5 at the Town ‘ Country Sports Complex.
The game went into two overtimes and with 8.1 seconds left on the clock, sophomore forward Steven Beattie made a headshot into the goal to make the score 1-0, letting the Norse (3-0) claim victory over their visiting opponents.

The men’s soccer team is ranked No. 3 in the NCAA Division II poll.
