Freshfusion, Northern Kentucky University’s annual student involvement activity, will take place on Sept. 3 at 4 p.m., thanks to the Activities Program Board and all student groups on campus.
Free food and prizes will be given away throughout the night and although the name Freshfushion doesn’t sound like an event for veteran students, it’s not limited to freshman.
“Although the event is coordinated towards freshman and new students, any and all students are welcomed to come,” Kanita House, Executive Director of APB, said.
More than 200 organizations will attend the event to encourage students to get involved and meet new people. The event will begin in Regents hall and then move outside around Loch Norse, between 5 and 5:30 p.m., where students will be able get free food and a chance to mingle with all the campus organizations.
According to House, students who venture to Freshfusion will be able to make photo backpacks, photo puzzles, photo key chains and sand art, all of which are sponsored by the APB.
An estimated 3,000 people are predicted to show up and make their way through the display of organizations and activities; all free of charge.
So, take a break from the mounds of books that have accumulated in your room and take some time to destress and head over to Regents Hall for fun, food and prizes.
