A student has reported a sexual assault in the Norse Hall, but the victim has declined prosecution, according to the University Police’s Web site. This is the third sexual assault reported in the 2007-08 academic year.
According to the UP Web site, at 9:22 p.m. a female student reported that a male subject sexually assaulted her in his Norse Hall dorm room. The police interviewed both the victim and the suspect. But the victim declined to prosecute.
Dispatchers at UP said they could not provide any additional information. The Northerner will seek further information.
This is the third alleged rape recently at Northern Kentucky University. According to UP, the first happened in the Commonwealth dorms, and the second one happened March 16. In the latter, the victim reported being forced into a car, driven off campus and then raped before escaping.
