University Police said a woman reported Jan. 28 that she was raped in Commonwealth Hall, but added that the alleged rape did not take place that day.
Chief Harold Todd said that University Police cannot release any information because the investigation is still ongoing.
He did say that if officers believe students are in danger, they would send out a bulletin about the threat. Todd said that because the rape did not occur recently, there did not seem to be any danger.
Authorities have scheduled interviews Jan. 30 and 31 with individuals who they suspect have knowledge of the incident. After that, Todd said the police will be able to release more information.
