Sophomore soccer forward stand out Braden Bishop received the Great Lakes Valley Conference Player of the Week Award for the third time this season.

Three nominations as player of the week for three times in a season is the most by a player in the GLVC since Thom Peer did it for Wisconsin-Parkside in 2000, according to the Northern Kentucky University Sports Information Web site.

The Norse will be the No. 1 seed in the GLVC Tournament hosting Wisconsin-Parkside in the quarterfinal match, Oct. 28 at the Town ‘ Country Sports Complex in Wilder, Ky. The game is scheduled for 2:30 p.m.
