Around, around and around we go; the roundabout is making traffic flow.
Drivers are adjusting to the roundabout at the entrance of campus and it’s clearing up a lot of congestion, according to Harold Todd, director of public safety.
Todd said at the beginning of school, cars were stopping in the loop and being overly cautious, but are now moving through with no problems.
Only one accident has occurred on the roundabout. The accident took place on Thursday, Sept. 27, during the rain.
Todd said the accident happened when a woman failed to yield when trying to enter the circle. “It was raining, she failed to yield and she got hit,” he said.
Todd said he feels the roundabout is working well. “Nunn and University Drive don’t look as busy,” he said
