To all the readers of “The Fix:” Recently a member of our community was offended by a comment made in this column. I’m very sorry for the misunderstanding, but I would like to clarify something for the future: This column is meant to be a light-hearted look at the oftentimes ridiculous lives of celebrities. Guess what? Every Idol’s prayer may be answered: Simon Cowell might be throwing in the towel, OK! Magazine reports. Apparently, when 17-year-old Sanjaya Malaker made it to “American Idol’s” Top 12, Cowell said: “He’s not going to win. I won’t be back if he does.” Regardless of what Cowell said, the magazine was quick to note the judge’s contract with “American Idol” extends to 2009.
