The American Institute of Graphic Arts (AIGA), a new organization at NKU, is holding meetings on Thursdays at 12:15 p.m. in the Fine Arts Building room 313.
As a group they have attended a lecture at the University of Cincinnati, where they met with designers who contributed to the 2002 Winter Olympics in Salt Lake City.
Yesterday they held a reception in the Fine Arts Center, which brought AIGA members from around the tri-state to campus. Don Marsh, a local calligrapher, was scheduled to speak.
The group is currently building a website for their chapter.
Over the summer they will start preparation and production on a graphic design publication on campus.
