Matt Dolan drove in three runs Sunday to lead Northern Kentucky University to a 10-3 victory over the University of Wisconsin-Parkside at the Bill Aker Baseball Complex at Friendship Field.
Jerrod Fraley and Keith Jackson each added two RBI for NKU, which improved to 17-11 overall, 10-4 in the Great Lakes Valley Conference. Conor McGeehan went 3-for-5 and added an RBI double for the Norse, who completed a three-game sweep of Wisconsin-Parkside (11-13,8-7 GLVC).
Jackson gave NKU a 2-0 lead in the second inning with a two-run triple. Dolan followed with an RBI single that plated Jackson to give the Norse a 3-0 lead.
NKU starter Chris Unkraut pitched six innings and allowed just one run on six hits. Unkraut also picked up six strikeouts to even his record at 2-2.
NKU will hit the road for a GLVC doubleheader Wednesday at the University of Indianapolis. The first game will begin at 1 p.m.
