These brave photographers participated in the first Northerner photo contest.

The photos were taken between Feb.16 and Feb 22 in conjunction with the Homecoming week festivites.

The goal of the contest was to inspire students to take pictures of the campus and events by creatively capturing a photo that spoke for itself.

First place Chris Ritter was awarded a $100 gift certificate to Campus Book and Supply. Second place Wes Crout earned $50 at the NKU bookstore and Third place Anthony Redell received a $40 certificate to Provident Camera of Cincinnati, Ohio.
