For those students juggling dual roles of student and parent, the NKU Early Childhood Center may be able to make life just a little bit easier.

The Center, with the help of a $120,340 grant from the U.S. Department of Education, will expand services to include an evening childcare program, more parent education services and scholarships.

The funds make it possible for the Center to assist a greater number of NKU students, faculty and community members, said ECC Director Melanie Caldwell. “We are really excited about this,” she said.
