Going to Northern Kentucky University was a family affair for the Brooks family. At one point Mike Brooks, his wife Linda, and their oldest son Mike Jr. were all full time students at NKU.

Then an education of a different kind settled over their home, and forced Mike and Linda to concentrate their studies in a new but familiar area
