November is Native American/Indigenous people’s heritage month. Learning more about Indigenous experiences is crucial, especially around Thanksgiving. I attended a presentation given by Dr. Kah-ow-dthu-ee Sippun Amanda Cheromiah, also known as “Dr. Mandy,” where she discussed Indigenous storytelling and how its strategies can be applied to our own cultural narratives.
