The abnormally warm, wet winter weather hasn’t slowed down NKU students or their fashion sense. In fact, many embraced the damp weather with rain boots and trench coats. A variety of footwear arrayed the campus, allowing a glimpse of the owner’s character. Everything was on display from ducks and whales, to prints and bows, to the classic industrialized yellow. No matter the hue, rain boots and jackets added excitement to the gloomy day.
Students proved that their clothing doesn’t have to match the bleak winter weather. Hints of spring are already popping up across campus. Neon colors and pastels are used as accents with neutral winter clothing.
We will see attire transition toward traditional winter wear as temperatures drop this weekend. Boots of all kinds will remain in fashion as a cold front brings snow to the Northern Kentucky region.
